Nagra tape recorder inventor dies in Switzerland

My friend Rey Barry, a retired newsman and audio enthusiast says,

"I knew Kudelski. We spent an afternoon together In 1961 playing Bach's Toccata & Fugue using a Nagra III and Voice-of-the-Theater speakers as he demonstrated that you could drop the Nagra onto a conference table from two feet and not get the slightest warble in sound. We toured the factory in Lausanne, Switzerland, and at 5 he threw me out so he could go to a party and meet Bridget Bardot (and no, you can't come.)"
