Name from the past - Steve Brill

I was reading one of the Other Radio News Websites, and stumbled upon an entry from this summer. Steve Brill (who now is OM at Citadel/Des Moines) had either a "management or programming post" in Indianapolis sometime Back In The Day.

I don't recognize his name. If you do, where was he at?

Steve Brill sounds familiar to me -- but from the Evansville area. Not sure.
 
Well, I was the last hire under his regime at Premier Radio in Columbia/Jefferson City. I know he came there from KSD in St. Louis.

Are you thinking perhaps of Alan Brill? It's my understanding that Alan was the owner of Evansville's Brill Media.

Yes, possibly. The thought just crossed my mind as I signed on this morning that I could be confusing Steve Brill with the owner of WSTO.
