Name that dude

I managed to get my scanner to work. I posted some of my pics here:

Don, yeah I guess I was a groupie but I did actually do research. I'd call people and play clips of songs and get their ratings. I met some musicians, actors and wrestlers. (I guess wrestlers and actors fall into the same category.) I got tons of free tickets and I had the best time. I'm the one next to Nathan Ales on the right. It was at a fest somewhere. Blair, who is the guy in the pic with us?

Hi Beth,

Why not you and hubby join us for the radio lunch at Captain Humble's on 3/15 and bring those pics with you, so us blind ole pharts can see them better. We'll have enough old radio veterans there to ID most of those youngsters in your pics, and you'll enjoy the radio reunion.

Is that Cindy Lanaux in one of them? Don't know what her maiden name would have been back then. She worked with us at Oldies 106.7 from '89-'92.

Bob

Dude there is a zoom feature on the right but I'd love to join y'all with my pics. I don't think there's a Cindy but I could be wrong. Those were all taken in '84 and '85. I can't say it enough, some of the best times I ever had were during those years.

HELLO!!!

We're old... we zoomed... we didn't see nothin'.

Youngin's these days. Why, when I was your age...... [mutters to self and shuffles off to make a Geritol & Gin.]

Could it be (the then) Cindy Christian?

I don't think she was Cindy Christian. I didn't know her. But the one that looked a bit familiar, the brunette next to the brother with the baseball cap looks like Cindy whose married name is Lanaux. I think one of the other gals is Judy whatshername...6 letters, starts with "B" as I recall. Baquie maybe?

Buddy was a FM GM in Mobile or Gulfport as recently as maybe 3-4 years ago. At "The Monkey" maybe? (Where do they get these stupid identities from anyway?). My son, who is now a TV anchor in Orlando worked for him back then from his then-tv station doing TV news headlines in morning drive on their FM. Buddy is a prince though and I hope he is healthy as always.

Buddy was our GM/GSM at our Triad Cluster in Biloxi until we nearly lost him back in '04 with a stroke...he's hanging in there retired...missing radio! He's THE class act, and an inspiration to us all! Buddy plans on being at our Cap reunion March 15th...

Judy Baque was the secretary at WNOE for a short while. I ran across her when I worked at Doctors Hospital around '89 I believe. She and her husband split and she was trying out "those new fangled computer dating services." lol
