Name your favorite radio person

I thought this would be interesting...whomever replies, just list your favorite person - no explanations, etc - just the name. I will start:

Howie Carr

Howie Carr is just a figment of his own imagination...

Satirist...Stan Freberg...because he still believes in creativity in advertising as well as radio! ;)

Freberg had a great name for his company: "Freberg Limited But Not Very"

With the downtrend of talk radio in Boston this year, I've found Christy Mihos's fill in gigs at RKO the best that they have to offer. And that ain't saying much.

Roy Masters ;D

If I remember, Jerry Williams would have him on and when Brudnoy and Masters got into a "discussion," Masters made a disparaging comment about David's sexual orientation

my picks:

national: Mike Malloy

local: Morgan White, Jr. Wish he had a regular slot... It's probably a pipe dream but LaVeille in Sully's old spot and then Morgan overnight would be something I'd enjoy...

Brother, isn't that the truth.

around '94-95, his show was hilarious, especially with all the Rob Bartlett comedy bits and song parodies. And the Nixon bit... and Wilford Brimley giving new meaning to stuffing the bird. I have a tape from that period and, the last time I listened to it, I almost drove off the road I was laughing so hard.

The "Clarence 'Frogman' Thomas" period of the I'man's show was so edgy and funny and at times so very informative, that it was radio at it's best.

I had my wife in the car the first time I heard the "the secret?--internal friction" bit with Brimley, and my wife almost kicked the radio through the dashboard. She'd never listen to Imus again.

By the way, any idea of what happened with that supposed deal that Imus put together with Jim Steinman where they were going to release a compilation of all those song parodies?
