So, does anyone know what Pittsburgh rimshot Tom Taylor wrote about today, where the engineer caught the evening disc jockey getting very acquainted with people he met off the request line during "MacArthur Park" every single night at the same time? ;D

The only Suburban Pgh. station that was directional at night when a "first class license" was required would have been 1360 in McKeesport.

According to the girl, "Stay" by Maurice Williams and the Zodiacs would have sufficed. ;D

Don't want to disillusion anybody, but there are a lot of stories about DJs getting busy while "MacArthur Park" or "Hey Jude" or "American Pie" was on, and most of them fall under the category of urban legend.

How about dead air------- or a long PSA? KQV used to air those PSA things after midnight.

At an AOR station, Jackson Browne's cover of "Stay," combined with its lead-in, "The Load-Out" = nine minutes of fun! :D

I've heard of someone who used "Paradise by the Dashboard Light" for a quickie, and "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida" if foreplay was needed.

Was there any other rimshot on after sundown that played Top 40 other than WMCK/WIXZ?
