Nancy & Kevin & cameras?

Something I heard in passing today. Nancy and Kevin would be on TV soon? I must say I've not been paying close attention. Is it true? What station? What time? Did I hear an hour long thing? Anyone know anything about it?

I think 7 - 8am on Fox 56.

Must have lost the contract for the Slap Chop infomercial and needed time to fill.

But doing what? Being on the radio? Why not just wait 'til 8 to turn on the TV transmitter and save the electricity? Might there be something interesting about the video aspect of people who do a job that by it's nature is audio driven?

I think it is an interesting idea and at least its some local programming instead of some of the other options. There is an edge to Kevin and Nancy on the radio that might just also work on TV. And what does Fox have to lose by trying it?

You just can't put two cameras in the studio, go tight on the talent and do a split screen for the hour. There needs to be more tv production, some graphics, different camera shots, a high thrill cam to open and close the segment. Nancy and Kevin did their part, bringing good content and discussion as usual.

While I will agree with the content, the two have zero on air television presence. They don't come to life in front of the camera. Granted it is probably hard to come to life sitting like two statues, but that is the point. It is hum drum.
Have the talent sit next to one another, pull away from the close ups, have some sound effects. If you want to be on television, where there is competition at that hour, now you have to be a radio show, not two people talking into a microphone.
Nancy can bring it if she wants, Kevin has a lazy reputation so I am not sure how willing he will be to do what it takes to make this work.
Better idea would be to record Corbett's show the day before, edit it and put it on the air. Steve has a presence Nancy and Kevin do not.
