NASCAR COMING TO THUNDER???

That's not the rumble of thunder but the rumble of 42 Sprint Cup cars on 96.3 and 103.7.That would be interesting.WRNS has had Nascar since maybe 2000 or 2001
but for some reason never wrapped itself around racing like most country stations do.They ran the same return liners from the same drivers for 7 or 8 years and most of those drivers were either retired,semi-retired or in other rides.WQDR has had a long relationship with MRN,PRN and the Indy networks.I'm a big racefan and I
hope thunder carries the full schedule.I don't know what you have to run if you become an affliate these days.I guess MRN is the races and Nascar Live and PRN might be the races and Garage Pass.I would love to see someone do the Nationwide & Truck Series as well and the Pole updates on qualifying days. The season is all but here and me and my son love the races. If thunder is doing NASCAR that is very cool..

One of The reasons I got Sirius was for the NASCAR channel.
I get it all!!
Trucks to Cup.
The Nascar coverage down here is kind of spotted.

That is why I have a satellite dish so that I can catch all of the races because I cannot see paying to listne to the radio no matter how good or how bad it is.

I would assume the TV payment is higher than the radio payment.
But it is a matter of personal choice.
I don't mind paying for good radio,
if others do, that is fine.

And I am one of these strange people that likes sports broadcasts best on radio.
Shoot if I was not married, I would most likely not own a TV.

I'm a little confused. Are the races on 96.3/103.7 & 94.3? That would be a lot of signal overlap with 103.7 & 94.3.Is it a full schedule??? Pole updates??? Talk shows??.Does the nationwide series figure in somehow??? That would be cool...
Sprint Cup on 96.3/103.7 and Nationwide on 94.3.Have they started running promos???Racing season is here and I would think they would be doing some TV promotion about the races. Is the Bear still gonna do PRN stuff. With the 50th Daytona 500 two weeks away they are still alot of questions as to who is doing what. The Clash and run for the pole is now a week away.I'm ready....

Racing on the radio is great and MRN has the one of the most professionally run networks for a long time.PRN started slow but is now very good as well.I hear
Goldsboro's very own Alex Hayden more and more on MRN.He is a very nice guy
and a darn good racing broadcaster.I hope he is set for 08....Mark Garrow and Doug Rice have done a great job getting PRN up to snuff. The two networks have very different presentations but both do a great job...
