Xm is no longer going to carry all the nascar events, i emailed programing and this is what they said...

Thanks for your x-mail and support of XM. Unfortunately, we were unable to reach an agreement with NASCAR to continue our relationship beyond this current season. Our contractual rights to NASCAR are up at the end of the 2006 season.

For the remainder of this year we will continue to cover all of the race play by play for NASCAR Nextel Cup, Busch Series, and Craftsmen Truck Series NASCAR Radio, XM 144. As we have for the last four and a half years we will also provide 24/7 talk and analysis on NASCAR from Benny Parsons, Claire B Lang, Tim Farley, Joe Castello, and content from the SPEED Channel.

We are still finalizing our coverage plan for 2007, you can be sure that the NASCAR spirit will still be alive on XM with our new programming from Dale JR, and Jimmie Johnson. We will also continue to provide our XM original programs including Dialed In each weekday afternoon.

Please don't hesitate to contact me directly in the future if you have questions or need additional information on XM's talk programming.

i dont think the average listener would know that nascar coverage is going to sirius, on xm's website they still say they are the exclusive home of nascar, xm runs spots saying msnbc is no longer going to be available yet they fail to mention this.
