I heard 950 is going to be airing Nascar. Anyone have any info? If so this is awesome....
 
WXTU had been running the Cup series races for a couple years (unless run on a weekday due to rainout).
WNPV carries all 3 major series - Cup, Nationwide & Truck, with a higher priority than Phillies baseball but run in delay if live at the same time as Penn State football. I doubt if WPEN runs NASCAR it will just be Cup series. Also WDSD in Delaware and WZZO Easton carry Cup series races.
 
Michael Klein confirms it in today's Inquirer: 950 ESPN has rights starting with this weekend's race:

I wonder if this is a split package deal with WXTU, or did they just flat-out stop carrying it altogether; the article doesn't say. I know Beasley's been cutting back on some things, and I wonder if NASCAR radio in a market like Philly was one of their cuts. At any rate, I know one board regular must be happy with the deal.
