They just hired a new PD from Atlanta Axel, who was on Rock 100.5. I find it odd cumulus would do that if they were planning to flip to Nash Icons unless they will place that format on HD 2 and feed a FM translator in the area. CC had the Beat 102.7 logo on thebeatcincy.com before they launched on 102.3. Who knows what Cumulus is up to though.
 
The Beat site was leaked on purpose, if you believe the Business Courier. This is different. Check the WHOIS for these addresses. The same as 955nashicon.com, the web site for Cumulus's WSM-FM. Could be a 96.5 in another market, but you never know.

Looks like cumulus has registered the icon domain for everyone of their properties so it is nothing more than protecting their brand.
