nassau broadcasting?

how many have experience with a new deal with them (they bought the station you worked at)? what is their track record with kepping current staff and or making lots of changes? and for the current nassua stations how are they to work for?

They treated me well! No complaints there. They get rid of people, but they dont WIPE OUT people. If you are good and the station you are with is getting "flipped", they'll move you to another station.

Most of the people I've seen get the boot were cancerous...only one person I know has been let go due to budget.

In all the companies I have worked for in the past, Nassau is the best. They have spent money on desperatly needed equipment, they take excellent care of employees, and I agree with The Guy, they are fair about accessing the staff they aquire, we havent seen anyone leave our office except for promotion. I know for a fact that they will do everything they can to keep an employee, before letting them go, unless extreme circumstances. The only other aspect of Nassau that really stands out for me the sense of job security , and promise of actually contributing to the success of the company as a whole. Been through several companies, with any luck, Im staying with this one.

I agree as well...and I would add that it is refreshing to see a company that respects its product(s) enough to not let the programming be constantly dictated by the sales force.
