Natalie, Sam's co-host

Does anyone else find it funny that when Natalie was just the traffic girl for all the Clear Channel stations they played her off as this single mom? Now that she is with Sam on Mix she suddenly owns up to being married. Hmmmm... Personally I couldn't stand her when she was just on every 10-15 minutes. As annoying as I found Roula and Ryan I would take them anyday over the new combo.

She's just doing the job until Michele Fisher's non-conpete is up in January. Then she'll be as screwed as Roula and Ryan. Anyone getting a kcik out of how staged their phone calls are? They don't have the balls to take live calls because they would get killed on the air.

I know it takes some time to mesh, but...she doesn't do anything other that laugh at him and agree with him. She doesn't have an original thought in her head.

I don't think this will last. Too bad. She's a nice enough girl

I wouldn't know I haven't listened to that station since R&R got the screw job by KSAM/Scum Channel, and I could care less.

Just to clarify things a bit, you do realize that the letters KSAM have nothing to do with 96.5, Clear Channel, Sam Malone, or Roula & Ryan, correct?
I made mention of it once as a joke (hopefully thr joke was obvious enough), but those letters actually belong to a country station in Huntsville.

Yes KSAM was used because obviously "Clear Channel" thinks Sam Malone is the profound answer to its station woes, however R,R & E had more persoanality on their show then he will ever dream of ever having and that is why I said KSAM, it was a joke. I can't believe you took that seriously. Jimmy Cinnamon Roll
Are you sure your not Sam Malone?, ha.

I didn't take that seriously.
Just wanted to make sure you didn't.

No "I told you so" here but the Natalie prediction, I believe, was first made back on 8/24/05
<a href="http://www.radio-info.com/mods/board.php?Post=522083&Board=houston"> here<a/> on this board:

But, as posted above, is she buying time until Michelle Fisher's non-compete ends?

Haha...now that was actually funny. I wish Eddie Murphy was still funny.

Goonie goo goo

I wish he was too. Mr. Robinson's Neighborhood was the best.

according to make connection..YES. look for February
and that was my guess back in August when she left KRBE.

I thought Natalie was funny when she did traffic with Whip. she sounded board with Eric. did Jantzen chase her off?
and she's married??? I thought it was always played as single-mom.<P ID="signature">______________

"I'll see you Left of the Dial!"</P>

She annoyed me beyond belief as Natalie Fitzgerald on KPRC during Chris Baker's show. I know it wasn't anything out of the ordinary but whatever drivel he was babbling on about at the time, he'd go the seque "Natalie, let's ask Natalie. Natalie? What would you do if ..." blah blah blah and she'd throw up one of those horribly fake laughs as if she'd been there listening the entire time and then: "Yeah! Ha! Ha! Ha! Haaa--I45 Northbound, traffic backing up at the Shepherd curve..."

Then I turned it on Monday to see what was going on and there's Natalie. I'd heard enough.

Full Disclosure: I've had XM for over a year and I don't listen to local shows anymore (thanks Chris Baker!).

I think you guys need to lay off of Natalie. I think she has more talent than what Roula had. She just needs to find her own voice and get used to being on a morning show. She is used to having a very small time limit to talk and do traffic. Now, she is able to stretch out and show what talent she has always had. Natalie has a great sounding voice and I am sure though she may giggle slightly too much, but she will learn. I think Roula's voice is awful. The way she speaks is way to lazy. Hey Roula, Sweet Valley High called...the valley-girl talk is sooooo over!

I think you need to go back to high school. "The way she speaks is way to lazy." You didn't study english.

It is pretty clear that people listened to Sam's old show because Maria was somewhat entertaining, but listening to him now, I just want to reach through the radio and kick him in his little sack. Natalie, who cares. She'll be gone three months from now.

I have to agree with you about Roula... I couldn't stand to listen to her as her voice would grate on my nerves like nails on a chalkboard. All the ughs/aughs along with the likes/ya knows with the inflection of a car alarm made me change the channel without reservation. Poor Ryan could hardly get a word in edge-wise... aside from his little jabs in their obviously staged "War of the Roses" segments. I did TRY to listen as I believe variety is the spice of life... but just couldn't do it.

Jantzen probably ran her off.

that was chris baker's doing. he wanted to paint her as single and hot. whatever ya think of her air work is your biz. she is a nice gal. a laugh like nails on a chalkboard - but a nice gal.
