NATALIE WOOD'S MYSTERIOUS DEATH REOPENED

Many have always thought something just wasn't right about her death. The boat's
captain seems to be pointing the finger at Robert Wagner (in a new book which has
become a part of the investigation).

One can only wonder if whatever evidence unfolds may be too little, too late.

This sure wouldn't be the first case of one lover murdering the other. Nor the first
case of notoriety smothering the original investigation.

That was the most tasteless joke floating around school.
"What kind of wood doesn't float?"

But it was funny... Too soon? ???

So Wagner has a new book? And now the publicity of an investigation? Well that won't hurt sales none will it

I wonder if they'll reschedule the next NCIS episode.

NCIS - KCBS-DT - 2 - Tue, 11/22, 8:00 PM 1 hr
"Sins of the Father" New, 11/22/2011, Drama, Crime, Military, Courtroom
The NCIS team must figure out if Tony's father is actually capable of murder after he is found in a car with a dead body in the trunk and no recollection of the night before; Tony goes against orders and tries to prove his father's innocence.

The book is not by Wagner but the boat captain.

UPDATE: This article says Wagner is not a suspect, although the body had many bruises on
it.........guess the waters were choppy that night. I still believe there was a cover-up.

ARTICLE:
According to police reports, she was found wearing a long nightgown, socks, and a down jacket. She had dozens of bruises on her body, according to the autopsy report, including injuries to her face and arms.

On the news last night there was an interview with a woman who was in another yacht near the Wagner's who said she heard someone scream "help me" for 25 minutes. This person went on to say she called for helicopter assistance ( I would imagine the Coast Guard) but no chopper showed up. She also said that if her boat had a dingy she would have used it to find out who was in distress but didn't jump into the water herself because it was cold.

Now if this woman's story is true then how can Wagner claim he never heard a thing after Wood went missing? And what about Walken. Was he that drunk that he didn't hear anything either?

Even though I personally think the Captain of the yacht is trying to profit off Wood's death by promoting his book, there has to be some tangible evidence there for the police to reopen the case.

Not to get into any legal snafus here, but my take on this entire case is this.

I think that Natalie Wood was not only drunk, but was the victim of domestic abuse (which would explain the bruises on her body). She fell overboard and no one on board the yacht made a serious attempt to locate and rescue her.

This case may end up like the one involving the late George Reeves. For years there has been speculation that Reeves was murdered and did not take his own life. Unfortunately everyone involved in that case is no longer with us. This isn't the situation with Natalie Wood.

Let's see what the cops can uncover.

Why is all of this surfacing now, after 20 something years? Did that captain's "keep your mouth shut" money stop coming?

The thing that's always mystified me is that it was well known that Natalie Wood was terrified of water. She would not go swimming in the shallow end of peoples' pools. As a child actress, she once did a scene in the water that required repeated takes, and it terrified her to the point of older actors pleading with the director to stop torturing the child.

With that in mind, why was she out on a boat off of Catalina in the first place? She supposedly couldn't even look at a glass of water without shivering, why would anyone put her through that agony?

If the captain of the boat was high and drunk on the boat that night. He must have operated the boat in erratic ways to make Wood fall off and die. That's if Robert Wagner is proven innocent but let the evidence come into play again.
