Nathan Fuentes aka sfradio

I'm curious if anyone has traded with Nathan Fuentes, aka sfradio on Radio-Info, from the San Francisco market. Not just downloaded airchecks from his site, but actually received airchecks in the mail from him as part of a trade.

We agreed to trade a couple months ago. I sent his, and when mine didn't come, I emailed and he said he didn't have the money. I waited a month and emailed him back, but he hasn't answered, yet I see him posting on here. Has anyone done a successful trade?

I've had a couple, but it's been several weeks since I sent him his last airchecks and I haven't received mine yet.

We've had a successful trade, but it took a while. We have another one pending right now. I certainly understand that times are hard. That's another reason I'm happy to have yousendit.com.

Same thing happened to me...we set up a trade in March...and have heard nothing since.

I'd like to believe NF wasn't being dishonest....just ran into some problems. Hey, stuff happens to people....most of us understand that. But, as somebody else said...when you see constant posts on web from somebody who hasn't sent your airchecks...that's annoying.

The thing is...if a person can't for any reason mail the airchecks he owes other people....TELL them there'll be a delay. It's not polite or OK to simply ignore them and go on about your life.

Forgive me, but this is so typical of many younger traders. It happens with people of all ages, but for some reason most of these type of problems are with younger traders.

Please don't forget about the tapes you owe me either, Nathan.
I can understand the money crunch, but maybe you shouldn't be
initiating trades until you have some money to fulfill your end
of the deal.

I just wanted to point out that's NOT Nathan's website which
contains those downloadable airchecks. I know the individual who
spent a lot of time and effort uploading those airchecks. It's
NOT Nathan.

Thanks. The wait doesn't bother me so much as that you didn't reply when I inquired about the airchecks via email.

Interesting. It seems my first trade with Nathan wasn't a trade at all. Whoever uploaded them, your effort is appreciated.

I too downloaded all that stuff from that server Nathan told me about. If that is not Nate's, who's is it? Nathan, you should not represent something as yours if it is NOT. I'm sure we would all appreciate an explanation of whose it is, and why you are using it. If you have permission, that's another story.

Everyone who has posted on this thread I have traded with, and never had a problem with, and enjoyed trading with. This is a nice little community we have here, and I would like to commend everyone for their comments.

Re: forfilling airchecks

IF I can't for whatever reason forfill a trade then I don't do that trade. Or I put it off. I think personally that if you are going to do a trade, that you should have the money to forfull it.
If not, then why bother setting up one?
I figgure if I'm going to set up a trade, then I will be able to forfill it and keep my honest, upstanding reputation, as being an honest guy like I am.
Sometimes though i've found that there are just too much going on as far as trades at once. IE, too many people request too much.
What have you guys done in this situation? Have you liminited people to like say, 2 cassettes only?
Do you liminit people to two trades with as much miteareal as you wish?
What I do is this.
If it is a place that I am going to visit often, or will be returning too like say once a month:
(and I am doing this for Bensalem now)
)I take the full bulk requests from anyone, (no limit of traders or amount of media), then record some while I'm at home.
Then the next time I go home I record more.
This way they get everything they want, and I record what I can while I can.
They have to wait longer, true. But that doesn't seem to bother anyone.
I think that is the best approach.
Thoughts and comments?
