Nationals To WJFK

The Washington Nationals are close to naming WJFK-FM (106.7 The Fan) as their new flagship station. Meanwhile, their current home station, WTOP sister Federal News Radio 1500, will likely remain as a repeater:

Interesting that this comes just days after WJFK's brother station in Baltimore, 105.7 The Fan, loses radio rights to the Baltimore Orioles.

I guess this means that JFK is remaining sports talk. I kind of liked it when they were men talk...more variety of topics. Sometimes the sports talk format on both JFK and ESPN980 can be quite boring with the same three topics all day.
