Nauvoo Bell on KSL

So they reinstated the Nauvoo Bell on KSL-AM, I read the 'engineers figured out a way' to get around the IBOC issue (and 7 second blend to analog delay). Anyone know what they did?? I'm guessing they're just running the analog audio real time, and letting the blend to digital lapse by 7 seconds.
