NBA Finals TV Ratings

I enjoyed game 1 what thrilling game and Pacers comeback as I'm rooting for the Pacers and living in Michigan not to far away just don't root for them when they play the Pistons. Plus I had family that lived in Indy why I root for the Pacers & the Colts as well when they don't play the Lions.

Oklahoma City is now up 3-2 after a massive win last night in Game 5. 🎉 🎉 🎉

If you can ever get tickets on the first 3 or 4 rows from the court for an NBA game it will ruin TV coverage. I had a friend who had a connection and he got us tickets 2 rows in back from the visitor bench in Atlanta. To see physically large men move that fast, jump that high and change direction quickly is amazing. It makes college basketball look like it's in slow motion.

Gilgeous -Alexander is the MVP and should be better known. Halliburton and Pascal Siakam are excellent players. Siakam won a title in Toronto a few years ago. Jokic lead the Denver Nuggets to the title 2 years ago and is a Top 3 player. Great players are everywhere.

You're correct that the league deserves blame. They focused on LeBron almost exclusively. They thought for sure that Luka Doncic going to the Lakers guaranteed a Finals appearance. The fans also deserve blame. People whine when one team dominates and they cry about "rigged games". Now they get a new match up and they tune out. Go figure...
NBA fans can argue that when Warriors Management got Jimmy Butler for the same reasons Lakers got Luka Doncic. Then again every team that is not in the finals has to go back to their playbooks and prepare for the 2025-2026 season.

But then again since the majority of viewers to the NBA finals are in Indiana and Oklahoma then congrats to their home teams for making to the finals.

I cannot wait for the switch when NBC get national broadcast rights to the NBA when preseason starts.

ESPN still retains the A package.

Tyrese Haliburton left with an Achilles injury. He's like the LeBron or Steph Curry of that team. Pacers deteriorate without him.
Same injury Jayson Tatum suffered, which ended the Celtics' run for a second straight title prematurely. There's been talk that the Celts might be Kevin Durant's landing spot for next season, which would have been awesome, but he's apparently going to the very young Houston Rockets instead. Anywhere but NY or LA, I say.

Yeah, the Clippers have enough talent! #PeoplesTeam
