I'm guessing Little Big Shots will be midseason in 2019? And what about Genius Junior (or is that a limited-run game show?) I've been amazed at the things some of those kids know. Gifted and talented kids who I hope will make a big impact as adults. Neil Patrick Harris isn't a bad host either.

No word on Little Big Shots or Genius Junior. But America’s Got Talent is getting a spin-off (ATG: Champions) and a Sports competition game hosted by Dwayne Johnson (Titan Games). Guess we’ll have to wait to see if those shows return.

A rhetorical question perhaps, but "Who cares?" With so many new shows being premiered constantly on basic cable, premium cable, and streaming services, what difference do "Fall Premiere's" make? I didn't even realized the putrid Dateline NBC show was still around. Somehow, SVU still hangs on to life, and Dick Wolf gets to re-purpose his years of New York scripts into Chicago scripts. Wolf must be laughing all the way to the bank.

The only show on this list I even hear people talking is The Voice, which is kind of a "water cooler" show where I work, but otherwise, the "Big 4" networks have gotten kind of pathetic, IMO.

Clearly, someone does care. The broadcast networks still deliver, with rare exceptions, larger audiences than any individual cable network. And while perhaps more 'tradition' at this point, the fall premieres remain a fairly significant milestone. Unquestionably it has eroded over time, but erosion does not render it obsolete at this point in time. Somewhere down the road, sure. But we're not there yet.

What, no Chicago Crossing Guards?

With the major networks starting to copy the cable networks' trends to series staring anti-heroes (Breaking Bad, The Shield, Sons of Anarchy, etc.), I'm thinking Dick Wolf could come up with: Chicago Hookers, Chicago Gangbangers, and Chicago Arsonists.

It will be perfect for those special "crossover events" between Chicago PD, Chicago Med, and Chicago Fire

Is Law And Order SVU on its way out? Maybe 1 more season?

I'm thinking Dick Wolf's next project needs to be Law and Order: Case Remanded

Each week the Appeals Court overturns another of Jack McCoy's convictions that was based on
all-too-cute machinations.
