NBC 10's WB 17 news

Over the past few days I watched the NBC 10 produced WB 17 news as well as NBC 10's 11 PM. It seems if you watch one, you don't need to watch the other.

I am wondering if 10 is going to take a ratings hit at 11?

Also, they need to loose the "Powered by NBC 10" thing at the bottom. Its annoying and juat a waste of space.

More than likely, the people who have already been watching the WB17 10PM news aren't watching the NBC10 11PM news. They are watching it at 10PM because it is a more convienent time for them.

No. See above.

Why would they want to do that? It is called Promotion. Sort of like a radio station running a network show running location station sweepers during breaks.

I agree. But not all seven of them. Four or five will probably end up watching the FOX29 Ten O'Clock News.
