Beginning Monday 3-11-13 NBC 33 will shake up their lineup first in mornings we have

5:00 A.M Newsradio replaces (News)
5:30 A.M Coach replaces (News)
6:00 A.M The Munsters replaces (News)
6:30 A.M The Adams Family replaces (News)
7:00-11:00 A.M Today

In Afternoons:

2:00 P.M The Jeff Probst Show (until May)
3:00 P.M The Doctors
4:00 P.M NBC33 News At 4 (replaces Anderson Live)
5:00 P.M Dr. Phil

The 4 PM News weather reports will be provided by AccuWeather instead of Curtis Smith I guess they thought he might scare somebody with the so called bared

At 11 PM we now have Billy Elvis doing Sports

what I would do move NBC to 33.2 and put MeTV on the main channel, just my 2 cents

it has been reported by Rich and crew at FW Mediawatch that the general manager and sales manager have both been let go and that other changes are yet to come...
A 4 PM newscast is interesting...but ONE WHOLE HOUR?
WPTA does a whole hour at 5 PM, and then another half hour at 6PM...WHO DO THEY THINK IS WATCHING?

4 hours of the Today show (well 3 hours and the Hoda/Kathie Lee Ripplepalooza...)
It's better I guess than the hour of PAID AD SH*T that WPTA runs in the 10 AM hour...COME ON WITH THAT YOU FOOLS.
I've got to think there's a few syndicated shows that are worth buying than the same crap about the newest in facials and ladders and whatever else they can dig up...

Replacing your two-hour local morning news block leading into "Today" with Herman Munster and Uncle Fester? Now that's scary. If they're going to regress, why don't they add cartoons like Scooby-Doo, while they're at it.

Fox59 in Indy has local news on from 4AM>10AM and 4PM>7PM weekdays and another hour at 10PM. And it's a very well produced newscast. Billboards say Fox59 News...We're Probably On Now.

From what I have watched of it the production is a good mix of serious news with the usual side bits...
I don't think the weather talent has shown up yet (she was on vacation when they started this show.)
They do have a technical issue or two, like video playback timing is off a touch but that's something that just needs tweaking.

It is a break from the tried and true (or tired and bored, depending on the individual taste of the viewer.) 33 was first in the market but for years news has been last, and when they mashed everything into 'Indiana's Newscenter' people thought that was the end of news on WISE. Now I'm waiting to see if they have the stones to make something that makes a big change and upsets the market.
