NBC 6 at 87.7

I know they promote that you can hear NBC 6 on the radio at 87.7. They especially promote it for hurricane coverage. But when analog goes away, will that signal go away, too? ???

87.75 MHz happens to be where the audio for any Channel 6 signal in the U.S. is broadcast. So it would have to go away when the analog station does.

It makes sense to me to at least allow the analog audio to continue after the deadline in areas where it may be crucial in the event of an emergency but yes they are doing away with it.

Progress. Ain't it great?

Or, as my signature says...
