NBCU Buying KASA Albuquerque For $12.5M

It’s acquiring the Telemundo affiliate from Ramar Communications along with three other full-power signals, a Class A, three LPTVs and 20 translators.

NBCUniversal Local and Ramar Communications have an agreement that, once approved, will result in NBCUniversal Local acquiring Ramar’s Telemundo full-power affiliate KASA Albuquerque, N.M. (DMA 48), as well as KRTN Durango, Colo; KTEL Carlsbad, N.M; and KUPT Hobbs, N.M.; Class A KTEL-CD Albuquerque; and LPTVs KRTN and KUPT Albuquerque and K31NB-D Santa Fe, N.M. Also included are 20 translators. The purchase price is $12.5 million.
