NBC Chief: National Revenue Stable, Local Down

http://biz.yahoo.com/rb/080926/business_us_nbcbiz.html

I find it odd that TV is experiencing the opposite of radio. According to RAB figures, national revenue is off double digits since last year, and local revenue is off 3-5%.

Is there a comparable organization to the RAB that reports advertising revenues for television? I'm not aware of one.

A week or two ago, I read somewhere that Time Warner's Turner Broadcasting is actually doing very well during this downturn. They are seeing revenue coming in at a good pace.

There channels would be: TBS, TNT, TruTV, Cartoon Network, NBATV (and non-commercial - Boom, TCM)

I can't find the article that stated that, but if I remember correctly, Turner Broadcasting is doing good, which I find is great! ;D
