NBC Connecticut to Simulcast on Clear Channel

NBC Connecticut (WVIT channel 30) announced during their 5:30 newscast that they will also be heard on Clear Channel stations in the state during Hurricane Irene. They listed WWYZ 92.5, WKSS 95.7, WHCN 105.9, WPOP 1410 for Hartford and WKCI 101.3, WELI 960, WAVZ 1300 for New Haven.
 
According to NBC Connecticut's Saturday morning newscast, when NBC Connecticut goes to non stop storm coverage tomorrow their audio can be heard on WPOP AM 1410 in the Hartford area and WAVZ AM 1300 in the New Haven area. The other Clear Channels stations in the Connecticut cluster will have live updates from NBC Connecticut (WVIT channel 30 RF channel 35).
