NBC - General Discussion

I thought I’d create a thread for each network rather than clutter up the forum with one-sentence, meaningless stories like RadioSpider, etc.

This thread is for rational general discussion about NBC. Please try not to rant.

Remember that you’re encouraged to create a new thread for “big” events (i.e. Super Bowl 49, affiliation swaps, etc.).

NBC Renews ‘Welcome To Sweden’ For Second Season

NBC continues to renew its summer freshman original series. Following orders to drama The Night Shift and comedy Undateable, the network has renewed comedy Welcome to Sweden for a 10-episode second season. Unlike The Night Shift and Undateable, which were developed at NBC, Welcome to Sweden is in import. It is originally produced for Sweden’s TV4, which already renewed it for a second season.

My local NBC affiliate is WHDH-TV 7 of Boston, but the network used to be on WBZ-TV 4 until 1995. In Providence, NBC has always been on WJAR-TV 10.

List the NBC station in your area!

My local NBC is WCAU-10 from Philly, which is owned by NBC. KYW-3 was our local NBC affil until 1995. There's also WGAL-8(Lancaster/Harrisburg) and WMGM-40(Atlantic City). The latter will lose NBC at the end of this year.

So WMGM would be considered a cursed NBC affiliate then, right? Any others?
