CBS coverage and media critique of the kid
breaking his leg...just wondering,

sounded very strange!!
 
He might have been trying for Jay Leno's spot on the Tonight Show NBC said hell no, just like they did Letterman 20 years ago he now hates NBC is trying to get fired and join CBS. It's NBC and anything on that can happen twice ;D
 
I've heard it twice. Leno 'Jokes' about replacing Letterman. Now it has hit me. It would not surprise me, if Jay and his people are secretly sending messages to CBS people about moving to CBS. I wouldn't put it past him to do such an underhanded thing like that!

I put nothing past Jay Leno. By now I imagine he's become intimately familiar with the dimensions of every closet and office supply nook in the exec offices of NBC. ;-)

But this idea does seem far-fetched ... when it's over I predict "hard-workin' ol Jay" will have landed on his feet at Fox.

and it was such big news that the morning talkers couldn't ignore it.
