As a matter of facT, they DO!!
NBC has been airing the Midnight Mass from the Vatican on Christmas Eve ever since I can remember. I find it to be rather interesting that they show this every year, and it's a GOOD thing they do!!
The only problem in my area was that at midnight Central time, KTIV Ch. 4 in Sioux City, Iowa (my local NBC station), accidently interrupted the Mass and started running "WWE Friday Night Smackdown" from UPN at that time. They DID fix the problem, but when it happened, I simply turned on my favorite internet dance radio station and listened to that while I slept that night.
