NBC PLANS TO BRING "THE MUNSTERS" BACK TO LIFE

See, I was thinking John Kerry. Same state, better fit. ;D

or House Minority Whip Steny Hoyer of Maryland would be a good fit as well.

Why is it that politics seems to be filled with guys who look like Herman Munster? ???

Remember the episode where Herman tried out for the Dodgers and destroyed the field. Then Leo Durocher says that since the Dodgers can't use him, maybe we can send him to Vietnam.

Well Iraq and Afghanistan watch out, Herman is coming to a drama near you :)

I hope they do well, but it's hard to beat a classic and the Munsters, for it's shortcomings is a classic.
And considering we're talking about NBC here & not CBS, I think it's safe to assume this show will die a quick & painless death ;D

But for those who need a reminder - Anyone here remember what happened to the 1990s version of Twilight Zone ??

JMO.....

Cheers & 73 ;D
Well, I enjoyed it.

The series was first broadcast from 2002 to 2003 by the United Paramount Network (UPN) and every episode was released on video as part of a complete set of episodes on discs.

I think the other version that Pat was referring to was the mid-80s version that CBS briefly revived, and then later went into first-run syndication for its final season (1988-89).

This is not the one I saw. The UPN version was. I thought it was really good.

Sounds like "The Bradys" - wasn't that a drama as well?

cd
Yes. It wasn't pleasant.

You're right, it really wasn't...first off, you had a different actress playing Marcia Brady (just like they had a different actress playing Cindy in a Christmas-themed movie prior to The Bradys debuting). Then, Bobby gets into a serious racing car accident in the first episode, which left him paralyzed.
