I wonder if we'll be subjected to Ann Curry doing the weather? Or, maybe, God forbid, Stone Philips will come back and do Dateline NBC: The Weather Channel Edition.
TWC has gone so far downhill and I don't see NBC making things any better.

How About "Tropical Update with Keith Olbermann"---Every Hurricane/Tropical Storm will be blamed on the Bush Administration

Good Lord! Can you imagine Chris Matthews shouting the weather forecast to us? HAAA!!!!

Or "Dateline Weather Channel: To Catch A Storm" ---They hire freaks to case storms and arrest them, but then have to let the ones in Texas go, because of a loop hole.

I give The Weather Channel 2 years before they are gone out of GA. Yes, they did build a brand new studio for HD, but it doesn't mean they won't move it. Recently 11Alive built a brand new Master Control Center, but their MC will be out of Atlanta by the end of the year.

I don't give them that long. Bet they are already building studio space in New York.

When I read this story from IMDb, I thought of the Weather Channel...

Seems like NBC has its eyes on a new headquarters at 7 WTC. The company is considering leasing the top 10 floors of the 52-story building. The space available for NBC would amount to 540,000 feet.

You can read the whole story here:

And every hurricane name will have names like
Alito
Bernanke
Condolleeza
Dick (Cheney)
etc. (the alternating gender name rule can be thrown out the window)

How About "Tropical Update with Keith Olbermann"---Every Hurricane/Tropical Storm will be blamed on the Bush Administration
And John Coleman as "Worst Person In The Worrrrrlllld".

On the bright side, "To Catch A Predator" might nail Bob Stokes.
