Thanks for the memories! But there is a minor problem with the noon hour. Jeopardy was definitely still on the air at noon Eastern back then. I was 15 at the time and my memory is pretty good on this. And the New York Jeopardy set (with the old sliding cards on the board) was still in use at least a year later because an SNL sketch in '76 used it for a parody.

I don't think so. You're probably referring to the original syndicated weekly version with Art Fleming; if memory serves me correctly, the original network version ended January 3, 1975. You may be right about the SNL sketch.

to trade the last year on the Jeopardy! contract
for his new show, Wheel Of Fortune. The last
network telecast of the first Fleming version of
Jeopardy! was on January 3, 1975; Wheel debuted
Monday, January 6. The syndicated access version
with Fleming lasted only the 1974-75 season.

I stand corrected. I guess my mind is going. It's hell getting old. ;-)
