NBC Sports Radio

Saturday morning I heard an NBC Sports Radio program on Montgomery's Ticket (1210 / 107.5). However, later, they returned to their regular ESPN schedule with the Coleman show mid afternoon. Is WTXK planning to, for some reason, take the new NBC sports feed over ESPN, thus leaving the ESPN affiliation wide open in the Montgomery market - perhaps for Fusion? Are they planning to affiliate with both networks and "pick and choose"? Or, as I heard someone suggest - is WRBZ (1250 / 95.5) considering dumping their duplicative classic hits format for sports and one of the two networks?

There was not a list of affiliates posted on the NBC Sports Network page.

Don't read between the lines too much yet. Dial global is getting very very pushy with their NFL affiliates, trying to force weekend NBC Sports programming down their throats! Some stations are caving in and actually doing it. I told them that they could have it back and that I wasn't going to carry "sports talk" on an all talk and play by play station. They told me that at very least Saturday morning was a minimum requirement. I told them no way and that I would carry Sports USA INSTEAD! We have a signed contract and no NBC Sports. You can't let the network push you around like that! This isn't the 1970's! There are so many other choices out there
