NBC Sports Radio's Dilemma after the Olympics

How is NBC Sports Radio going to get affiliates in the now cluttered national sports network venue? ESPN Radio, the new CBS Sports Radio, and Clear Channel's FOX Sports Radio all have an owned & operated station base. Neither NBC nor Dial-Global (the distributor) own radio stations.

They said in their press release, which came a couple of weeks before CSSSPORTS Radio, that they were thinking 3 years for a 24 hour network. Opting to launch two shows and sports updates. If they want their shows heard anywhere, a partnership with Yahoo is essential.
