NBC to shut down Cloo

Not surprised. Who watched Cloo anyways? Sure they had some interesting old reruns, but no one could hardly watch them.
Started out as Trio in the mid 1990s, originally operated by CBC and later USA Networks. They used to air loads of interesting shows - SCTV, Coronation Street, old Laugh-In reruns, and those Brilliant But Cancelled shows. I have an episode of Kolchak: The Night Stalker on VHS somewhere, taped off Trio in around 2000. Turned into Sleuth and later Cloo, and had very little viewership.

Charter added Cloo after getting rid of G4 in Dec 2013 and it looked like Charter was going to drop Cloo before NBC decided to shut it down. I think Chiller is the next channel that will shutdown just my opinion.

Cloo is already off of Charter in Jackson, TN. I'm surprised that they haven't already dropped Esquire. Can Chiller be very far behind?

Also could this be the start of a trend of minor channels being dropped with other distribution groups as well?

Looks like Charter will be dropping Chiller in late APR not surprise that they dropped it shock that Chiller is in 34 Million homes.
