In a case of "spin" that actually has some truth to it, NBC today (December 2nd) issued a press release announcing that it's telecast of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade attracted more viewers between 18 and 49 years old than all but seven prime-time television programs that week.
The network claims that over 42 million viewers watched at least part of NBC's parade coverage.
Of course, the network's coverage has been criticized, both on this board and elsewhere, for failing to report that there had been an accident involving the M&M candy balloon further up the route, and substituting past footage of the balloons at the point where they would have passed by the NBC anchor booth/camera location in front of Macy's.
