NBC10 anchor Renee Chenault-Fattah NEWS

It's a dilemma born of a modern marriage. Either the station keeps Chenault-Fattah as an anchor, risking - fairly or unfairly - charges of bias, or it shifts her to a different job, effectively punishing a successful professional for her marriage.
Ah, another example of objective reporting from PNI. ::)

As the article points out, Maria Schriver gave up her NBC gig when Ahnold ran for governor. Closer to home and a closer parallel, Donna Hanover gave up her job reading TeleprompTers when husband Rudy ran for mayor of New York.

Renee got her job because of affirmative action (actually double affirmative action since she fills two entitlement quotas). She's a lawyer. Maybe she could get a judicial appointment like Midge Rendell. Channel 10 would be well rid her. She knew this could happen when she married a politician - a built in conflict of interest for one who claims to be a "journalist." They should have sacker he as soon as she announced her engagement. No, they should have sacked her before that for that single parent - artificial insemination stunt.

Can they (Ch 10) just run a crawl with a disclaimer? Would that cover the legalities? ???

Warning: Renee Chenault-Fattah may be hazardous to your health.

It would be nice if she went, but isnt the fact that she is still there a conflict of intrest?

She is one of the worst news anchors anywhere.
Agree. NBC 10 has some terrible anchors, it wasn't like this when Larry Kane was anchoring on WCAU-TV

No, she was still terrible back then.

Julius: were you even alive when Larry Kane was on Channel 10? If so, aren't you too young to remember Larry on Channel 10?

Yes I do remeber Kane being on WCAU. I was born on 12/10/81 FYI.
