NBC10 Anniversary

With the forthcoming tenth anniversary of WCAU-TV 10's affiliation with NBC, does NBC10 plan anything special? Any near term plans to update the news anchor desk reporting area? This current news set has basically been the same for several years. The only recent set upgrade was to the Eartwatch Weather Center.

There's been chatter for months that NBC is going to be revamping all of its O&Os with new graphics (at the least). Perhaps it's in the works to coincide with WCAU's anniversary with NBC.

As for the set, it was built in 2000, so it's not *that* old. Plus, if you remember the last set redesign, they were on a temporary set (IIRC, it was in their newsroom -- the newsroom was visible for a time; then when the old set backdrop had been taken down, they hung it behind the temporary set's desk to conceal the newsroom) for a couple of months while it was being built due to the lack of space at 10 Monument (IIRC). I'm sure we'd see the same thing should a new set be constructed.<P ID="signature">______________
