You know, I was watching Ch 10 news about the Depetro story and they put up a picture of John's wife. I'm sorry but was that necessary? Usually they put pictures up of murderers or escapees or other criminals.. Believe me, she is none of those. I feel quite bad for her because if any of you believe that she actually did this on her own, then I think you need your head examined. John is like a bloodhound, he can find news wherever it's at and he knows everything that is going on all the time.
They probably met with their lawyer and said what is the best way to get out of this with the minimal amount of trouble. Oh ok Kristen says she filled them out without me knowing and how can they blame me? She probably did fill them out but with him sitting right there.
And WPRO is profoundly disappointed in her? PUKE!! They are idiots too. Phew!! I feel better...
 
Just so you know.... that picture was also on NBC 10's website with a caption that said.... Photo provided by John Depetro. So when John threw her under the bus he made sure he attached a picture of her as well. NBC10 isn't the disgusting one here.

The picture of Mrs. D was on the WHJJ Website for a long time. I remember he told us that the picture was there and was taken at the Springsteen concert.
But, maybe John is of the school that believes in "Any publicity is good
publicity." HIS POOR WIFE!!!!
Did anyone else notice that when he was interviewed on TV in front of his house, his left finger was bare!!??
Just think of all the stunts he's pulled over the years. The only reason he was good on WHJJ was because of Plunder Dome and the
Wendy stories. As soon as those stories died out so did his popularity, although his head size continued to grow.
 
I still think NBC10 should have left it out. (did not know pic was provided by john) This has happened in 3 other cases where the host was fired. Except, none have said their wife did it. So will Arbitron punish him for no ratings for 1 year like they did everyone else?
 
NBC 'partners' with WPRO? Dan Janig made Paul Muller from 6 look tame.
Does WPRO want to keep this relationship? Does 10 for that matter..It was nasty.

WJAR has a responsibility to report the News and so does WPRO. If the tables were turned and someone on 10's team screwed up somehow, do you think WPRO would be hands off the story? No way! PRO would be doing the exact same thing. This is their business. Yorke, Depetro and Cianci go after people all day long each and every day for hours at a time. The only difference now is that WPRO is on the other side of the fence for once and finally getting a taste of their own medicine.

Do you know what's going to make John have such a hard time weaseling out of this mess? The simple fact that this has received National coverage and is all over the trades. If it had remained a tiny local issue than I think you are right. Depetro might have dodged the radar if not many people had found out about this. But with all the coverage this story has received it's a pretty solid bet that Farid is about to set an example. He's not going to let this slide and look like an A-hole to the entire industry. No way!
 
Is this just going all away? Will Arbitron take WPRO out fo ratings contention for 1 year? They have done that to other stations... It did cost them money to reissue the ratings again. What's happening?

I would guess since it can't be proven that it wasn't DePetro's wife and it can't be proven he knew about it that nothing will happen or he'll scream "lawyer" like he did at WRKO.What is probably happening behind the scenes is loss of revenue and eventually jobs because of it but not DePetro's job.
