NBC30's Bob Maxon

Did anyone else happen to catch him on WNBC Saturday morning? He was doing the Weather for Today in New York and I think he did a pretty good job down there. Although it's not Bob's first time there, WVIT has shared on-air personalities with WNBC in the past as NBC O&O stations.

Yeah...Kevin Nathan shows up once in a while doing WNBC's sports reports. I've seen him a couple of times.

Yeah I was flying into JFK from Las Vegas and our Delta Flight had live TV on board for each seat. I was surprised to see Bob there and he was joking about the snow saying he still had to get back to Connecticut to take down his Christmas tree.

Bob looked very good in NYC and it looked like he had been covering NYC his entire life.

A few weeks ago NBC had their Toy Drive in West Hartford, and I pulled up with the back of my truck full of toys for the kids and as I pulled up Bob and Brad Field came running over and unloaded my truck for me.

Bob is a good guy.

Bob does seem like a real good guy. I think he's underrated. Good personality, sense of humor and explains the weather very well. I remember way back when he used to be on WMUR/Manchester.

You should see Bob's real sense of humor. He's a great guy, but he's also got one of the dirtiest minds (and mouths) on the face of the earth. Nevertheless, he's really great on-air.
