I'm sure people wonder why Nick Cannon's show is necessary, but "America's Funniest Home Videos" has survived the Internet. Personally, I wouldn't waste time on what Nick Cannon shows, but I enjoy seeing a lot of it because he does. Some of these Vine stars I'd be tempted by but I don't have the time.

I'm really glad SNL is doing old shows, at least part of them. Even when they did the ones from the previous week, that got me interested enough. I could have always taped them from the time I started taping, but didn't think I had time. The reality is I don't. And yet I watch.

Sounds like NBC is playing it safe after the fiasco it had this past season. As for new shows that NBC sees as their "future" the only one that has a chance is "The Good Place" (when was the last time you heard swear words like "fork," "bullshirt," and "bench"), and already its getting a lot of attention.

Crowded was never given a legitimate chance. I think it might've gained traction had it been placed somewhere other than Sundays.

What "fiasco" are you talking about? If I understand correctly, NBC is now the number 2 network after suffering years in the ratings basement. They may have had some duds this year, but overall, things are looking up.

NBC is hinting that Shades of Blue, Little Big Shots, back up comedies, and/or The Blacklist spinoff might be filling that period.
