Interesting...I thought Ellen's Game of Games would air this summer. Yet CBS is airing the god-awful 'Candy Crush' game show with Mario Lopez as summer filler. Guess Les Moonves needs something else making $$$ while his wife runs Big Brother?
 
And of course, they'll be carrying the Winter Olympics live in all time zones(except, of course, Alaska & Hawaii; expect them to get tape coverage out there).

I know figure skating is still the big ratings grabber at the winter games, but it will be interesting to see if interest in the hockey tournament is greatly reduced by the NHL's decision to prohibit its players from participating. The owners feel that the exposure the sport gets during the Olympics doesn't justify three weeks of empty arenas and regional sports networks showing garbage filler programming in the middle of the NHL season.
 
Shades of Blue is one of the few shows on the "Big 4" that I watch anymore, though I haven't watched the second season yet. I'm glad it's returning at some point.

Could somebody please explain the attraction of Chris Hardwick? I usually understand why hosts, comedians, or host/comedian types are popular, even if I don't care for them personally. Hardwick I don't get at all.
