NBC's "Access Hollywood" Expands To Fox

Specifically, later this year, the new daytime series "Access Hollywood Live" will debut on Fox owned-and-operated stations in Dallas, Houston, Detroit, Memphis, Minneapolis and Tampa Bay, in addition to six NBC O&O's.

As far as 'expanding', KDFW/4 has had the local rights to the original Access Hollywood for a while now.

It may be produced by NBC, but it's a syndicated show. So I wouldn't exactly say it's "expanding" to Fox. I'd betcha there'll be some CBS and ABC stations across the country pick it up soon, and maybe some indies too.

I couldn't find much information, but I'll guess the live time will be set so it's 2pm Eastern/ 11am Pacific.

Since Fox doesn't have a daytime per se, it's easier to get FOX affiliates to sign on with the show.

I'm thinking in DC where Martha is on WJLA, WJLA will have to find something else and WRC or WTTG/WDCA picks up the show.
I don't think WJLA would make room in the afternoon disrupting ABC Daytime.

Doesn't Access Hollywood already have an hour-long weekend show along with the weekday version? Why not just revive Celebrity Expose?
