Good for him...

Nice way of sneaking in yet another plug for WWE.
For the rest of us, REAL LIFE goes on...

This is good move for NBC to have a saturday night WWE Main Event b/c I dont have UPN on my DIRECTV local channels to watch WWE Smackdown I hope my WB channel will become the new CW network so I can watch WWE Smackdown and WWE saturday night and WWE Raw on USA Network..

I've pretty much known they were going to bring good ol JR back.

And I wouldn't think of a better way to do it than SNME back on NBC where it

belongs.

Little Known Fact: This will be the first time JR will be on NBC since the ill faded XFL 2001.

Maybe he will be given the title of Broadcast Emuritus or something like that

for the WWE.

experiment.

Will you stop on the real/fake aspect of wrestling? We all know it's planned out and gone over before and during a show. I knew it was that way as a 12-year-old when I started watching it in 1983. It's all I ever hear and I'M SICK OF HEARING IT! Stop beating a dead horse and move on!

Anyways...I plan to tape this special as I taped some of the old-school "WWF Saturday Night's Main Event" shows, inlcuding the two one-hour specials which aired on FOX in 1992 and the three live NBC specials on Friday nights in 1988, 1989 and 1990. As far as I know, it's supposed to be mostly the "Raw" crew and it's being held in Detroit.

There will be quite a few SmackDown superstrs there as well. The main event is a Raw vs. SmackDown tag match. Stone Cold Steve Austin will be there as well to do a beer drinking skit with JBL.

Well said. I don't even come close to seeing the appeal of "Desperate Housewives," but I don't go to threads about that show and berate the show and those fans of the show posting in them. WWE "Raw" and "SmackDown!" are current TV programming and this is the national TV board. I would never speak for KM, but he hasn't moved or deleted threads about WWE programming, so he must not find it out of place.

Just don't click on the WWE programming threads. Lighten up, Garrett.

Are you one of those people who go upto smokers and say "Hey, you know those things can give you cancer right?"?

Anyway show looks solid, but to be a real hit I think they need a suprise. A heel turn? (Mickey James doesn't count, since that would hardly be a suprise). A suprise run in by maybe Hogan dueing the HBK/Shane match? Ahh, probably nothing.
