NCIS on its way to FINALLY becoming the year's #1 show!

Last year, "Sunday Night Football" did the impossible and ended "American Idol's" seven-year reign as the #1 show in all of television, largely thanks to the Super Bowl. And now, after almost a decade of being on the air, the time would finally come for "NCIS" to take the top spot as we're nearing the final weeks of the 2012-13 season.

During the football season, NCIS has averaged more viewers than SNF; along with "Dancing With The Stars" and "The Voice", they have also been scoring TKOs against the tired Idol. When the final numbers come in, expect Donald P. Bellaisario to throw the biggest "WE'RE (FINALLY) #1!" party for the NCIS cast and crew (it'll also be the first scripted series since CBS's other hit "CSI" to finish at #1).

Here's what I think the finish will be:
1. NCIS
2. Sunday Night Football
3. Dancing With The Stars
4. The Voice
5. American Idol

American Idol and Dancing With the Start would not even make top 10 AI ratings have slipped like 30% to 40% with Nikki Minaj on the show this yr

Highly unlikely. Mark Harmon had Bellisario removed from contact with NCIS by threatening to quit over Donald's "chaotic management style" seven years ago. He gets creator and executive producer credit, but he has no involvement in the show.

On top of that, Bellisario is in the middle of a lawsuit with CBS, saying his contract guaranteed him the right of first refusal to produce any NCIS spinoff. They bypassed him in creating NCIS: Los Angeles. And Bellisario, who's 77, is battling a potentially fatal brain condition.

So...no, Donald's not going to be throwing a party.

All right...it'll be just Mark Harmon, Pauley Perrette, and the rest of the NCIS gang throwing the party then.

Gibbs must have head-slapped him too hard! 'Belli-SAR-io! Get OUTTA here!';D

Lest each and every employee of that show remember, if it wasn't for Bellesario, most of them would have a lot of free time. He may have had questionable management skills earlier, but he put a few shows on, including JAG, which gave birth to the NCIS franchise.

If their is any partying going on, his name best be included.
