Article in the SB Tribune talking about the rights and quoting John Heisler. My guess is that a deal has been signed and they are waiting for a little dust to clear before the big annuncement.

I still wonder why MBB is not part of the ISP agreement.

i think the reason why ND MBB isnt included in the Football deal with ISP. Is because MBB was never part of the football deal with Westwood one. I'm sure if MBB was part of the deal not as many stations would want to carry ND FB if they had to carry MBB

ISP is a pretty decent group of people. They handle sports for the University of Souther Mississippi around where I live now and they do a great job. Not sure about the Irish's deal but here they handle football, men's and women's basketball and baseball.

Notre Dame Sports Properties owns the men's basketball themselves.

Hopefully this link to that South Bend Tribune story will work, at least for a few days:

That was an interesting read. I can't help but wonder if Artistic will regret not continuing to be an affiliate. It seems that, regardless of format, there's more to gain by carrying the games. I half wonder if one of the AMs would do well as an all sports station with a huge emphasis on ND (I say that, though, without knowing much about the South Bend market).

The South Bend Tribune reports on their website that ND has signed with Schurz - six year agreement. Football will be on 960 and 101.5. Men's BKB will be on 960. Hockey will be on Schurz' LMA - 99.9, etc.

No terms announced.
