NE PA TV Question

I was in Wilkes-Barre last weekend and had my laptop with me with a TV card installed.

I could pick up everything except WOLF-TV's analog signal on 56. This was both from the airport and from the Lee Park/south W-B area, which is close to the transmitter. From both locations I could get all three of the digital channels: WOLF, WSWB and WQMY, and my father gets WOLF via DirecTV, but could not get an OTA analog signal. Anybody know what's going on there and is the station back? Just curious.

Were you able to get anything with WNEP-TV or digital at all? I know they had a major tower issue after an ice storm there a few months ago.

WNEP was fine - both analog and digital. WOLF analog was the only signal I didn't get. From the airport, I even picked up WYOU's Clarks Summit translator on ch 19 and a JTV station on ch 67, the latter likely due to the higher elevation of the airport. I couldn't pick up ch 67 at my father's house, which was actually closer to the station which originates from the Nanticoke area.

BTW, speaking of WNEP, I like their local newscast replay on their DT2 subchannel. I missed the news each night I was there, and could get it off DT2. At least one station in every market should offer that. Also, neither WNEP 16.2 or WQMY on WOLF 56.3 is carried by DirecTV.

(The JTV station is W67DE Newport, for those of you scoring at home.)
