And KDM - if you you the word 'Techno' in any post outside of quotes you should have to put a dollar in the cup. People who use that word display their ignorance and lose all cred.
But what if I'm just trying to be like everyone else?
Oh, and as far as letting certain formats playing a certain song determine something, this is something I would not do because as you can see, dance radio does not include even half the sounds and styles that exist in dance music. Dance formats revolve mostly around anything with a house pattern beat style. Really, it should be called "CHR HOUSE" than CHR DANCE, the same way CHR ROCK is mainly rock, and the same principle as "hip hop stations" playing MOSTLY hip hop.

Lastly, I don't get why people don't like to read, gain full detail and accurately get all info that's being presented. If the length of these posts are harassing, then I wonder what most of you do when you have to sign a lease or contract... or even vote? Not read it, sign it, then get upset and blame someone else when you find out there was something you don't like? Simple one liners or using half incomplete phrases only leads to inaccuracy, which often leads to more confusion and misinformation. Need proof? Look at the state of things in politics, economics, business (including RADIO!!) and human relationships today.
Doing this:
- "New dance song by Ne-yo"
- "that's not dance!'
- "yes it is"
- "no it's not"
- "yes it is because... (followed by ONE short incomplete example)"
- "well that doesn't mean anything"
- "dance is in the eye of the beholder"
- "well still no one said exactly why it is or isn't dance so you're all fools"
- "no you're a fool..."
..this would not get anyone anywhere. Sometimes, in debates, you must explain thoroughly and in full detail (especially in writing) to get a precise point across. If you argue, but don't explain thoroughly, then unless you're providing a solid answer, you might as well just not say anything because you're only bringing more questions / arguments rather than answers to the table (Ex. WHY did he say... WHAT does it mean...?? etc) You think the word "techno" alone shows ignorance? Then just say one thing that can be misunderstood, don't explain it, let it be taken out of context, and THEN see how ignorant people can make you look.

- Especially if it's recorded in writing.
90% of the problems people complain about in this world today are due to miscommunication... True or false?
