OK, gang. Enough of the vocals talk for now
. Back to basics.
I have fallen behind on my music service, I have spent the last couple of days catching up. One CD that particularly caught my ears was Neamen Lyles' "So Free," produced by Jay Soto. I have always been a big fan of Jay's solo work, so it is nice to see him throw on his producer suit. This is quite a good listen, gang. A number of very upbeat, hip tracks on this one. In fact, I ended up ripping 9 of the 10 cuts for consideration for the station rotation. Given that I tend to have some pretty picky ears from time to time, 9 out of 10 is quite good. "Candy", which I really liked, was released earlier as a single. The full does not disappoint. Check it out.
P.S. For the Jonathan Fritzen "haters" out there (JK... 8)), I sampled "Friday Night" and I LOVED it. I could be wrong, but even his harshest critics might agree it is a good track. Has a little Joe McBride vibe going for it.
