Near A Radio? Near Stockton?

I just turned on my radio. I still can't hear anything other than static, but then again, I had the same problem even when KSTN was still on the air. I live in Northwest Stockton and the transmitter of KSTN is in Southeast Stockton. And I still couldn't pick up KSTN. I used to pick them up all throughout Stockton up until the early 1990's. I will check tomorrow morning to see if they are on.BossRadioDJ said:

Wow! KSTN is booming in Concord but they sound like crap in Northwest Stockton? Couldn't hear them last night, Right now, i can hear them but with with a staticy background. They sound like a out of towner. From what I am hearing, It is identical to the online station. Iding as "America's Original Bossradio". I haven't heard the "Power Oldies 1420" logo yet. They are playing lots more 50's and early 60's rock music than the previous KSTN that signed off the air last February.travisl5678 said:

I can hear it on a portable in Newark. Not as good as it used to be, I don't think. But it's there.

There was a transmission line problem early on Sunday. The station was back on Sunday afternoon and is still running as of noon on Monday.
In fact, at the time you responded this morning (at 8:17 AM) KSTN was up and running.

That would be funny if someone did for the short time they were on...im sure the timing conceded with them sending out the last round of w-2's for the last employees since someone had to be in the office for that ha

Perhap's the owners are waiting for station resale prices to increase, like thats going to happen anytime soon. The owner's should have just sold the station to K-Love too. That's pretty sad when even K-Love doesn't want the station either! One would think that a couple of kids fresh out of college with a few of daddy's bucks would buy the station and do something with it.
