100 Variety Hits Stations

we hear alot about Jack and Mike and Bob but I see on Lou's site the V.H. station in Lousiville KY has recently added personalities. Anybody heard 'Louie fm' yet?

I still think it's interesting that Variety Hits is considered a format. To me, variety hits is a programming tool that can work in any music format.

Classic Rock is a format, Classic Hits is a format, Oldies is a format (all three overlap each other somewhat), Alternative Rock is a format, Adult Contemporary is a format, Dance is a format, Hip Hop is a format, etc. A mix of different formats creates a new format which is called "Variety Hits" or "Adult Hits".
