What is going on with this website, formely know as theprovidencechannel.com? A couple of months ago, they said their new website was launching in July. Never saw it, and when Peter Jennings died, their tribute site has been up ever since. What's happening? Does anyone know if this site is even coming? Can anyone get it contact with the people that run the site and see if they're still debuting? I want to see this site!

I notice relaunches of New England TV websites are a thing for you, Ethan! (wink/chuckle)

Well let me tell y'all something. I am very insterested in the old stuff. I would like to see what TV was like back in the day, including New England television. I am thankful for what I have right now. My parents have movies on tape, taped off of 6, 7, 10, 12, and HBO all in the 80s-90s. Some run past 11PM, catching old newscasts. But I would like to see deeper in the past; the 70s, possibly 60s. So sites like SouthernMedia, TV Ark, New England Channel, and even BTVN, I appreciate all deeply; too bad bostontvpast.com had to go. I'm also interested in the inside scoop at local TV stations. But seriously, what's going on with New England Channel? I've waited too long. When are they relaunching?

Here is something that the webmaster of the nechannel.com can do

Start a new segment called classic Newscast

It is showing Boston TV Newscasts (WGBH,WBZ,WCVB and WNAC/WHDH) and Providence TV newscasts (WLNE/WTEV, WJAR and WPRI)

Maybe that would be a good idea.
